A woman has been arrested for slashing a family member with a knife. Harrison police say they arrested 59-year-old Leanne Slock following the incident.
According to the probable cause affidavit, when officers arrived, the discovered the victim had slash marks on her arm that appeared to be from self defense. Officers found Slock sitting in a chair with a knife on the ground next to her that had blood on it. Police say Slock was talking, but not making sense. She would not comply with officers’ commands, and had to be physically removed from the house.
The victim told law enforcement she was helping Slock in her residence when Slock said she was going to kill her, grabbed a knife and came at her.
The victim was taken to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
Slock is facing felony charges of aggravated assault on a family or household member and terroristic threatening.
