A few area runners competed in the Missouri State Cross Country Championships Friday in Columbia.
Dora’s girls finished fifth in the Class 1 team standings with the title going to Chadwick. The Lady Falcons were led by freshman Isabelle Martin as she crossed the line in 12th place in a time of 20:58.8.
On the Class 1 boys’ side, Dora’s Cade Nold was third in a time of 16:26.9. Fellow Falcon Joshua Nold ended up 15th.
Gainesville had some runners compete in Class 2. For the Bulldog boys Ryder Murphy took 78th place with 18:30.4. Kaitlyn Kahl finished 56th with a time of 22:22.8.
