Wednesday basketball schedule includes MHHS girls meeting Farmington in Valley Springs tourney

Wednesday’s basketball schedule includes the Mountain Home High School girls returning to Valley Springs for their second game in the Jake Gray Invitational. The Lady Bombers will meet Farmington in the semifinals.
Mountain Home is currently 1-0 on the season. The Lady Bombers began the tournament on Monday with a 19-point victory over Mayflower. Farmington is also 1-0. The Lady Cardinals also started the tournament two days ago with a win over Mountain View.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30. Wednesday’s game can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live ktlo.com and the Bomber Sports Network on YouTube.
Also on the girls’ bracket, Mountain View and Mayflower will tip off at 5 on the consolation side. In boys’ action, Valley Springs faces LISA Academy North at 6:15.

The Lead Hill Junior High Tournament will continue with its semifinal round. The girls’ game between Cotter and Ozark Mountain tips off at 4, Cotter’s boys take on Flippin at 5, and Bergman plays a doubleheader against Green Forest starting with the girls at 6.

Another junior high tournament will continue Wednesday as Marshall is hosting the Rabadi Annual Classic.
The winners bracket games will be played at Ray Moore Gymnasium in Marshall. The host Junior Bobcat teams play a doubleheader against Jasper starting with the girls at 4:30, and Yellville-Summit’s girls will be paired with Mountain View at 6:30.
The losers bracket games will be held at Leslie. Calico Rock meets Shirley for back-to-back games starting with the girls at 4:30, and the Yellville-Summit boys face Mountain View at 7:30.
