Friday’s postseason football schedule includes Mountain Home’s fourth consecutive appearance in the quarterfinals of the Class 6A State Playoffs. The Bombers will be on the road for the third straight week as they go to Greenwood.
Mountain Home enters the game with a record of 6-5. The Bombers began the postseason last week with a five-point victory over Little Rock Catholic.
Greenwood is unbeaten in 10 games on the season, and this will be their first playoff game after having a first round bye last week. The Bulldogs’ last game was two weeks ago when they ended the regular season with a 17-point win over Little Rock.
Kickoff at Smith-Robinson Stadium is scheduled for 7. Friday’s game can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com and the Bomber Sports Network on YouTube. Radio coverage begins around 5:30 with Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas High School Gameday.

After having a first round bye last week, Salem will have its opener in the Class 3A State Playoffs. The undefeated Greyhounds, who are set for home field advantage through the semifinals, will host Jessieville on Friday.

Izard County is one win away from returning to the championship game of the Eight-Man State Playoffs. It will be a battle between Cougars as Izard County travels to Rector for the semifinals.

In Missouri, Ava will have home field advantage for its quarterfinal game of the Class 3 State Playoffs. The Bears will entertain Seneca.
