
The Arvest Bank Tournament came to an end Saturday at Flippin.
The girls’ championship trophy was captured by Bergman. Salem ended up losing to the Lady Panthers 56-38.
Mountain View was crowned the winners of the boys’ bracket. The Yellowjackets came away with a 58-48 victory over Omaha.
Flippin’s boys ended up with the consolation title. The host Bobcats defeated Yellville-Summit 62-54.
Yellville-Summit also came up short in the girls’ consolation championship game. The Lady Panthers were edged out by Ozark Mountain 68-66 in overtime.
The Mammoth Spring boys were victorious on the last day of the Highland Classic. The Bears topped the host Rebels by a final of 55-51.
A few area teams competed on the second day of Holiday Hoopsgiving at Bergman. On the boys’ side, Calico Rock fell to Green Forest 59-46, and Valley Springs routed Paris 66-39. Valley Springs did not fare as well in girls’ action as they lost to Sheridan 55-48.
