The Mountain Home Christmas parade and the 5th annual First Security Bank tree lighting ceremony will return this Friday evening. This year’s parade theme will be “Fishing you a Merry Christmas” and will begin at 6. The parade route will begin on Hospital Drive, make its way down Arkansas Highway 5 North and then turn onto Main Street and will proceed past the Mountain Home square. Festivities will begin 4 around the town square in the lead up to the tree lighting at 5:40. Local vendors, food trucks, music provided by DJ Peace and activities for kids will be available.
