A rural Cotter man was injured in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday night north of Cotter. Thirty-six-year-old Mycal Rorie was transported by ambulance to Baxter Health with what was termed a suspected minor injury.
According to the report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Rorie was traveling on Denton Ferry Road. He was nearly one-tenth of a mile south of County Road 707 when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and came to a rest when it made contact with a tree.
Damage to Rorie’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000 from the 11:30 p.m. accident.
