Arvest Bank has announced the bank’s 27th annual Arvest Charity Golf Tournament raised $18,000 for local nonprofits in Boone, Baxter and Marion counties.
According to a release from Arvest Bank, funds from the tournament held Aug. 26 at Big Creek Golf and Country Club in Mountain Home benefited Hospice of the Hills in Boone County, Care Center Ministries in Baxter County and Flippin School District food pantry in Marion County. Each charity each received $6,000.
Scott Copeland, president of Arvest Bank for the North Arkansas Region states, “Our charity golf tournament has been a long-standing tradition in North Central Arkansas. We are proud to continue to support local charities in the areas we serve. We are thrilled to be able to support each charity with a donation, as we know these nonprofit organizations will continue to have tremendous impact in their communities.”
In its 27th year, the Arvest Charity Golf Tournament chooses one nonprofit from each county to support every year with money raised during the event.
