Friday basketball schedule includes 5 MH junior high teams meeting West Plains

Friday’s basketball schedule includes Mountain Home’s three junior high boys’ teams welcoming West Plains to the Hangar. The seventh grade game tips off at 4:30 followed by the eighth grade and freshman contests.

Two of Mountain Home’s junior high girls’ teams will also go up against West Plains, but their games will be on the road. The seventh grade game starts at 5:30, and the eighth grade contest will follow.

The semifinals in the Izard County Tournament will come to an end at Highland. Flippin’s junior boys meet Izard County at 5:15, the Melbourne senior girls face Highland at 6:30, and Flippin’s senior boys take on Cave City at 7:45.

The Bergman girls will compete on the consolation side of the Tournament of Champions at Southside High School in Fort Smith. the Lady Panthers play Greene County Tech at 5:30.

Valley Springs’ boys will play their first game in the Bad Boy Mowers Cardinal Classic at Farmington. The Tigers will be paired with Shiloh Christian at 9.

The Harrison boys will play their second game in the Arvest Hoopfest at Heritage High School in Rogers. The Goblins meet Waynesville, Missouri, at 4.

Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Yellville-Summit, Norfork will send two boys’ teams to Paragould to face Crowley’s Ridge Academy, Viola entertains Rural Special, Gainesville’s boys are home against Ava, Salem hosts Walnut Ridge, the Dora boys entertain Plato, Mammoth Spring travels to Marked Tree, Marshall is home against White County Central, Ozark Mountain makes the trip to Haas Hall-Bentonville, and Jasper heads to Dover.
