The Knights of Columbus has scheduled its “Coats for Kids” distribution event on Tuesday in DeClerk Hall of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church at 249 Dyer Street in Mountain Home. The event will start at 11 and continue until 4 or until the coats are gone.
The Knights of Columbus will give out 120 new coats for girls and boys in sizes from a young child to a young teen. Families can choose between a lined lightweight winter coat or a severe winter weather coat. The coats will be handed out on a first come, first served basis.
According to the news release, the Knights of Columbus sponsors Coats for Kids nationwide in the hope that no child should suffer the cold of winter.
