A Stone County man has been arrested on multiple charges including rape and incest for an incest in late November. Being held in the Stone County jail is 41-year-old Heath Alan Noto of rural Mountain View.
According to the probable cause affidavit, deputies were called to a house between Allison and Fifty Six on Arkansas State Highway 14 after the sister of the victim called 911.
When deputies arrived, they found the victim locked in her bedroom. She ran from her bedroom, crying and telling deputies to get her out of the house because she was scared.
She was placed in a patrol car and asked what happened. The 18-year-old victim said everyone in the house had left except her and Noto. A friend of Noto’s came over and they all consumed some alcohol.
The friend left and the victim took a shower. When she came out, she alleges Noto grabbed her, forced her to a bedroom and that’s when the rape occurred.
Noto was found asleep and was placed under arrest. Deputies noted when they woke him up, he was visibly intoxicated.
During questioning the next morning, Noto told investigators, “If I did it, I don’t remember.”
Noto is facing felony charges of rape and incest and a misdemeanor charge of providing liquor to a minor. His bond is set at half a million dollars.
