Two area teens charged with helping a third run away from home appeared in Baxter County Circuit Court Monday.

Eighteen-year-old Skylar Henson of Mountain Home and 19-year-old Gaben Kline of Gassville both pled guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor and were put on 12-month misdemeanor probation.

Both have been free on $5,000 bond.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Kline and Henson drove a 16-year-old Mountain Home teen to Ava and rented a motel room for him in late April.

The trio made the trip to Missouri in the run-away’s vehicle. Kline and Henson then returned the vehicle to Arkansas and parked it on the side of the road near Henson’s residence.

They are reported to have wiped the vehicle down to destroy fingerprints and to make the 16-year-old’s disappearance “appear to be a suicide.” The keys were thrown away.

The runaway was found in Springfield and returned to his parents.
