A one-vehicle crash involving three Ozark County teens late Monday afternoon resulted injuries to two of them. The 15-year-old male driver was transported by ambulance to Baxter Health with minor injuries, and a 15-year-old male passenger was flown by air ambulance to an unknown Springfield hospital with serious injuries.

According to the report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the two males and another 15-year-old juvenile, all from Zanoni, were traveling on Missouri Highway 181. They were in Zanoni when their vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. The driver reportedly overcorrected, and the vehicle went off the left side of the road and overturned. The passenger that was injured was ejected from the vehicle.

Neither of the injured teens were wearing their seat belts. The report did not state if the teen that avoided injury was buckled up.

The vehicle was totaled in the 4:45 p.m. accident.
