Even though there has not been a wintry mix over the weekend in the Twin Lakes Area, travel conditions can still be a concern with the recent rainfall. At KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, the official reporting station for the National Weather Service in Mountain Home, a total of 1.07 inches of rain has been recorded since Sunday morning.

The amount of precipitation mixed with some of the oils on the roadways can make for tough driving conditions, and Meteorologist Colby Pope of the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says there could be other concerns.
