A fire destroyed an outbuilding early Wednesday evening in northeast Mountain Home. No injuries were reported from the fire at 54 Blackthorn Lane.
According to the Mountain Home Fire Department, personnel were called out to the blaze just after 5. The outbuilding, owned by Jamie Hicks, was fully involved and sustained 100% fire damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Fire personnel were on the scene for nearly two hours. Mountain Home had 17 personnel on the scene with two engine companies, a ladder company and two tankers. Seven other personnel were on standby.
Mountain Home was assisted on the scene by the Northeast Lakeside and Clarkridge fire departments.
