With the total solar eclipse coming in early April, The Donald W. Reynolds Library serving Baxter County is giving those in the community an opportunity to get prepared for the rare event.
Starting March 1, library card holders will be able to pickup four free pairs of glasses per membership. The American Astronomical Society recommends the wearing of these special glasses to prevent eye damage during these celestial events.
Andrea Belt, Marketing Coordinator for the library, was recently a guest on KTLO’s Talk of the Town with Sammy Raycraft to discuss how people can pickup their glasses.
