DEWEY: So this year we have had a lot of calls about our early voters have seen on the ballot that there is something about our school’s millage that’s actually there every year and we just want to make it very clear to our voters that this is not a new millage ask, this is something from the Constitution, Article 14, Section 3, that comes before the voters every year, even when you’re not making a change to your millage rate.

We think it’s probably on the minds of our voters because of our two votes. Recent ask for an increase to that millage. But at this time, we are not asking for an increase. This is just something that is done according to our Arkansas Constitution.
