
The ASU-Mountain Home baseball and softball teams were on the road Saturday for a pair of doubleheaders.
The Trailblazer baseball team had mixed results in West Memphis as they split their doubleheader with ASU Mid-South. ASU-Mountain Home doubled up the Greyhounds 10-5 in the opener. The Blazers did not fare as well in the late game as they were edged out by ASU Mid-South 6-5. ASU-Mountain Home is now 12-4 on the season, and they’ll be in Rogers on Monday for a neutral site outing with Conners State from Warner, Okla.
The Blazer softball team had a rough day in Mena as they were swept by Arkansas-Rich Mountain. ASU-Mountain Home began the day by losing to the Bucks 13-0. The Blazers later fell to UARM in the second game 9-0. ASU-Mountain Home drops to 0-6 on the year, and they’ll be back on the road Tuesday for a doubleheader with ASU-Newport.
