Two Mountain Home High School seniors signed national letters of intent to continue their cross country and track and field careers on the collegiate level. William Hill will be attending the University of Central Arkansas in Conway this fall, and Cade Triantos will join Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond.

William Hill surrounded by family and coaches
Hill and Triantos have both been integral parts of the Bombers’ recent success. Mountain Home captured the Class 5A state championship in boys’ track and field last week, nearly six months after they won their second consecutive title in boys’ cross country.
Hill says two factors assisted in his decision to become a Bear.
Listen:
In last week’s state track meet, Hill finished second in the 800-meter and 3200-meter runs and third in the 1600-meter run. He was also the Bombers’ top runner in the state cross country meet in November. In last year’s state track meet, he was on the team that won the 4×800-meter relay.
Hill says the team atmosphere at Mountain Home has been instrumental in getting him ready for the next level.
Listen:
William is the son of William and Joanna Hill of Mountain Home.

Cade Triantos surrounded by family and coaches
Triantos’ decision to become an Eagle was based partly on Oklahoma Christian being in his old back yard.
Listen:
Triantos has top-five finishes in multiple events over the last few years, but he’s also dealt with a couple of injuries. He says the support of his teammates and his coaches has been beneficial to come back from the injuries and go on to compete on the next level.
Listen:
Cade is the son of Jennifer and Jason Burlato of Mountain Home.
