The annual Feed the Pack event held by the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas, along with Arvest Bank and its Million Meals program, had its biggest collection yet as it came very near its $30,000 goal. As of 4 Friday afternoon, the drive raised a total of $29,291.20.

While they did fall just shy of the $30,000 mark, Arvest Bank Marketing Specialist Spree Ragland says the money that was raised is not insignificant.

Volunteers collected donations at the corner of Cardinal Drive and U.S. Highway 62B in Mountain Home and several area storefronts including both Mountain Home Harps locations and Walmart locations in Mountain Home and Flippin.

Food Bank CEO Jeff Quick says he is thankful for the volunteers and to have a partner like Arvest Bank for Feed the Pack.
