A recent Mountain Home High School graduate had one more opportunity to hit the hardwood before he plays on the collegiate level this fall. Braiden Dewey competed for the West in the Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Basketball Game Saturday at the Farris Center on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
Dewey ended up with six points as he went 3-for-7 from the field. He also grabbed five rebounds to help the West defeat the East 86-70.
Dewey will join the men’s basketball team this coming school year at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville.
