A Little Rock Fire Department captain was reportedly killed in an off-duty car accident over the weekend.
Captain Robert Hild died around 12:30 A.M. Sunday in a single car accident on Highway 365 in Maumelle. Captain Hild was in the vehicle with his wife when the incident occurred.
Hild had served with the Little Rock Fire Department for 25 years and was the captain of Fire State #9.
He is survived by his wife and five children. The cause of the accident is still under investigation at this time.
