The Mountain Home MacLeod American Legion baseball team watched its season come to an end Thursday in the Arkansas Junior State Tournament at Little Rock Christian Academy. MacLeod lost its elimination game 8-3 to the Little Rock Warriors.
Koen Bickford suffered the defeat as he pitched the first three innings, recorded five strikeouts and gave up one hit and four earned runs. He also went 1-for-2 at the plate, drew a walk and drove in two runs. Rowan Askew was 2-for-4, Braxton Blagg went 1-for-2 with a walk, Tate Cudworth was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run, Erik Foster and Aiden Shrable each went 1-for-4 and scored a run, and Will Rauls drove in a run on a groundout.
Mountain Home’s final record is 18-18.
