The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) announced Friday afternoon the immediate closure of portions of Pigeon Creek Park for road repairs.
According to a press release, the gate restricting access to half of Pigeon Creek Park will remain closed until further notice during the repair. The closure includes the Cypress Grove Parking area and boat launch at the park’s end. However, USACE states the first boat launch area will remain open. Pedestrian traffic through the closed section will still be permitted.
