Baxter Health recently was able to obtain a long term trial on an Intuitive Ion Device which is able to detect lung cancer much sooner than previous methods. Dr. Brian Malte had the following to say about the technology, “As a pulmonologist, acquiring the Ion device will revolutionize Baxter Health’s approach to diagnosing lung, cancer and other lung conditions, offering unparalleled precision and access to even the smallest and most challenging areas. This groundbreaking technology empowers us to detect diseases at the earliest, most treatable stages, paving the way for life-saving interventions and a brighter future for our patients.”

A new version of the Davinci robotic surgery system is set to replace an aging model and Pugsley says they have been stategic in how they offset the cost.
