
A global technology outage occurred during the early morning hours on Friday due to a faulty software update. According to the Associated Press, flights were grounded, various media outlets were knocked offline, and some hospitals were disrupted. However, the damage caused in the Twin Lakes Area appears to be minimal.
Dewey LeBlanc of Tech Authority, Inc., says CrowdStrike is at the center of the disruption.

LeBlanc says Tech Authority had one client with external access through virtual networks to larger ecosystems that were slightly affected, but to his knowledge, those systems were corrected on their end. LeBlanc says his company has done what it can for the local businesses it services.
