
Two of Mountain Home’s junior high football teams began their season on a good note as they swept Batesville on Thursday.
The freshman game ended with the Junior Bombers defeating the Junior Pioneers 22-13. Mountain Home starts the year at 1-0, and they’ll have their first road test on Monday when they meet West Plains.
The evening began with Mountain Home’s eighth grade squad shutting out Batesville 6-0. The Eighth Grade Bombers are also 1-0, and their next game is Sept. 12 at Paragould.
