Cardinals face Rockies to start final road trip of 2024

The St. Louis Cardinals will begin their final road trip of the season in Denver. The Redbirds will start a three-game series with the Colorado Rockies Tuesday evening.

St. Louis is looking to finish the season with a winning record after being eliminated from playoff contention over the weekend. The Cardinals are third in the National League Central and trail Milwaukee by 10 games with a record of 79-77 after winning two of three over Cleveland in their final home series of the year.

Colorado is last in the N.L. West with a mark of 60-99 as they’re 33 games behind the Dodgers. The Rockies ended up losing their weekend series to L.A.

Michael McGreevy will be St. Louis’ starting pitcher for the opener, and Colorado will go with Ryan Feltner. The first pitch at Coors Field is scheduled for 7:40. Tuesday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The broadcast begins at 6:45 with Ameren Total Access.
