One person was injured in a motel fire late Tuesday night in Mountain Home. The fire at the Executive Inn at 889 U.S. Highway 62 E. in Mountain Home was reported at 11:30. The person injured was treated at the scene by personnel from Baxter Health.
According to information from the Mountain Home Fire Department, the fire, which is under investigation, started in room 118. The report indicates about 20% of the building sustained fire damage, 30% had smoke damage and 30% had water damage. The roof sustained about 40% total damage.
Firefighters were on the scene for approximately one hour.
