The Viola High School girls’ golf team wrapped up its season Wednesday by finishing seventh in the Class 1A State Tournament. The Lady Longhorns had a team total of 361 at Mountain Ranch Golf Club in Fairfield Bay.
Shayden Waltrip led Viola as she was 10th individually with a 114. Two other Lady Longhorns had personal bests as Avery Rogers shot a 116, and Taylor Richardson ended up with a 131.
