Norfork among area boys’ golf teams in state tournament play Tuesday

A few area high school boys’ golf teams and athletes will be in state tournament play on Tuesday.

Norfork, Viola and Jasper will be among the teams in Blytheville for the Class 1A State Tournament. They’ll be joined by Keaden Gill of Calico Rock and Daylen Jelks and Grady Pitcock of Timbo. Tee time at Thunder Bayou Golf Links is scheduled for 9.

Three area golfers will compete in the Class 2A State Tournament. Cole Principato of Cotter, Noah Mosley of Izard County and Mason Gregg of Marshall will be among the athletes at Glenwood Country Club. Action begins at 9.
