
The Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce will be part of the Class of 2024 to be inducted into the Mountain Home Education Foundation Hall of Honor. The chamber will receive this year’s Community Partner Award during Thursday’s Night of Honors.
Chamber President and Chief Executive Officer Dani Pugsley says she and her staff were informed about their upcoming enshrinement during the summer, and it was an unexpected announcement.

The chamber has worked with Mountain Home Public Schools for a long time on various programs. Pugsley says it’s important to make sure the local youth will one day be ready to advance in their adult lives not just for their future, but also for the betterment of the community.

Prior to joining the chamber, Pugsley was an instructor at Mountain Home Public Schools for 11 years, and that has led to workforce development becoming a passion for her. She says one of her objectives is to make local employers aware of the opportunities existing in the Twin Lakes Area.

The Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce will be recognized during the Mountain Home Education Foundation’s Night of Honors Thursday evening at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home.
