Bombers prepare for a busy week of competition

The Mountain Home Bombers are gearing up for an action-packed week of sports, with teams competing most days this week Monday to Saturday.

Monday starts with a parent meeting for girls’ basketball from 7th to 12th grades at 6 in the high school gym.

On Thursday the junior football team faces off against Batesville at home. The junior high game starts at 5:30 and will be a conference championship matchup, adding extra stakes for the young athletes. Meanwhile, Mountain Home’s cross-country teams will travel to Hot Springs for the state meet. Varsity girls will race at 2:30 followed by varsity boys at 3:15.

The action continues on Friday as the high school football team hits the road for a crucial game against Greenwood at 7.

Finally, Saturday, marks the Bomber Basketball Tip-Off at 1 in the high school gym, where basketball fans will get a first look at this year’s team.

Mountain Home students, parents, and community members are encouraged to come out and support the Bombers as they cap off the fall season.
