Thursday will be the start of the Arkansas State Cross Country Meet at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort in Hot Springs, and Mountain Home will be among the teams competing on the first day.
The Bombers and Harrison will be represented in the last races of the day for Class 5A. The Mountain Home boys are seeking their third consecutive state title after winning recently winning their ninth straight conference championship. The Lady Bombers come into the state meet as the 5A-West runners-up. The girls’ race starts at 2:30 followed by the boys at 3:15.
The day will begin with Class 3A, and schools being represented include Flippin, Salem, Melbourne and Mountain View. The girls start at 10:30, and the boys will follow at 11:15.
