Mountain Home Bombers Drop Two to Annie Camp

The Mountain Home Bomber junior basketball teams hosted Annie Camp from Jonesboro on Monday, competing in closely fought matchups but ultimately falling short in both games.In the eighth-grade game, the Bombers trailed by just two points at halftime, with the score at 23-21. However, Annie Camp outscored Mountain Home in the second half, leading to a 52-34 defeat. Finley Maxey led the Bombers with 18 points. The eighth-grade team now holds a 2-8 season record.

The ninth-grade game was a back-and-forth contest that went into overtime. Mountain Home held a six-point lead at the end of the third quarter but couldn’t maintain it. Annie Camp tied the game at 43-43 in regulation and outscored the Bombers 8-2 in overtime to secure a 51-45 win. Max Bryant paced the Bombers with 18 points, while Johnny Krueger contributed 8 points.
