National Weather Service gives safety tips to prepare for potential extreme weather

With the recent and expected upcoming winter weather in the Twin Lakes area, meteorologist Dennis Cavanaugh from the National Weather Service spoke with KTLO News to give important reminders on how to prepare for wintery conditions.

The National Weather Service also recommends trying to avoid being outside during the coldest parts of the day, ensuring pets and livestock are not overly exposed to cold weather and making sure vehicles have at least a half tank of gas.
