ASP releases report on Fulton County accident that injured 5 Mountain Home teens

The Arkansas State Police (ASP) has released the accident report from the crash in Fulton County two weeks ago that injured five teenagers from Mountain Home. All five are males.

According to the ASP crash report, the accident happened when the vehicle, driven by a 16-year-old male, failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the centerline and the other lane of the highway, went into the ditch, hit an embankment and then hit a tree.

Four of the five injured are minors, one age 17 and three of them age 16, whose names the ASP will not release because of their age. The fifth is identified as 19-year-old Landen Haynes. He was taken by ambulance to Baxter Health in Mountain Home.

The accident happened the afternoon of Dec. 30 at 3:52 on U.S. Highway 62/412 just outside of Salem. The road was dry at the time of the crash.
