The Mountain Home High School and Junior High dance programs will host a Mini Belle Dance Clinic this weekend for students in pre-kindergarten through seventh grade. The clinic is scheduled for Saturday from 9 to noon in the gymnasium at Hackler Intermediate Schoool.
For those mailing in their registration forms by Monday, the cost is $30. For other participants, the fee is $35, but there is a $5 discount for each additional sibling. Entry forms can also be dropped off at the high school.
Participants are asked to bring their own water bottles. Hair will need to be put up and kept out of the kids’ eyes. In addition, comfortable tennis shoes or jazz shoes should be worn (no sandals or flip-flops). Jewelry should not be worn during the clinic. Those unable to remove their earrings will need to put tape over them.
Those taking part in the clinic will be learning a jazz-inspired dance. They will be demonstrating what they learned at halftime of the Mountain Home High School girls’ basketball game against Farmington.
