Monday’s basketball schedule includes four of Mountain Home’s junior high teams making one of their longest road trips of the season to face West Memphis West. The eighth grade girls’ game tips off at 4 followed by the eighth grade boys and both freshman contests.
Elsewhere on the junior high level, Calico Rock travels to Salem, Melbourne makes the trip to Imboden to take on Sloan-Hendrix, Harrison hosts Alma for three boys’ games, and Harrison will send three girls’ teams to Alma.
Two area high school boys’ teams will begin action in the Seymour Bank Winter Classic. Dora plays Aurora at 6, and Bakersfield will be paired with Cassville at 7:30.
In other high school basketball, Gainesville’s girls entertain Dora, Izard County heads to Southside Batesville, Mammoth Spring is home for makeup games against Marshall, and the Jasper girls travel to Mount Judea.
