The Baxter County Quorum Court convened Monday night for a second reading of an ordinance to dissolve the Baxter County Airport Commission and replace it with an advisory board.
The meeting lasted less than five minutes, with all 11 Justices of the Peace in attendance. Baxter County Clerk Canda Reese read the ordinance, and the meeting was adjourned without any discussion or comment.
The Quorum Court will reconvene Wednesday evening at 5:30 in the second-floor courtroom of the Baxter County Courthouse in which the ordinance will be heard on its third reading, followed by discussion and a final vote.
