The Flippin High School bowling teams took part in the 4A/3A-West Conference Tournament Tuesday at Ozark Lanes in Fayetteville.
The Bobcat boys secured a state tournament berth by finishing fourth. Flippin was sixth after the individual games, but they moved up two spots following the Baker games.
The Lady Bobcats ended up in sixth place and just missed a state tournament bid by a few pins. Flippin’s girls also moved up two positions after the Baker games. The Lady Bobcats did have two individuals qualify for the state tournament and another that will serve as an alternate.
