Mountain Home Plant showing new branding for Vantive
Vantive, formerly Baxter Kidney Care, has launched as an independent vital organ therapy company following its acquisition by Carlyle from Baxter International Inc. as of Monday this week. The change has seen portions of Baxter’s plant in Mountain Home now being rebranded and changed to house the independent operation of Vantive’s local manufacturing.
KTLO News spoke with Vantive Plant Manager Robby Hill and he says as of Monday new temporary signs marked the official change at the site. Although this marks a large change in the ownership of the plant, much of the previous manufacturing continues as it did before the change. Approximately 1000 employees now work for Vantive while approximately 200 work under Baxter International. The front entrance will be used for operations under Vantive while a side entrance will now used for Baxter International.
Hill says the changes have not affected employment at the plant but some things have changed inside the facility.
