High school basketball makes up the local Monday schedule as several area teams will be in postseason action.
The 1A-2 District Tournament will continue at Rural Special High School in Fox. On the girls’ side, Norfork and Calico Rock tip off at 4, and Viola faces Concord at 6:30. Norfork’s boys take on Timbo at 7:45.
Melbourne is the site of the 3A-2 District Tournament as it resumes. In the girls’ games, Salem and Valley Springs get underway at 4, and Flippin plays the host Lady Bearkatz at 6:30. In boys’ action, Mountain View will be paired with Cave City at 5:15, and Flippin faces Valley Springs at 7:45.
The 2A-2 District Tournament will get back underway at Tuckerman. The Mammoth Spring girls take on Marshall at 4. On the boys’ side, Marshall plays Sloan-Hendrix at 5:20, and Mammoth Spring will be matched up with Tuckerman at 8.
The 1A-1 District Tournament is being held at Kingston. On the girls’ bracket, Lead Hill faces Mount Judea at 4, and Omaha takes on Founders Classical Academy at 7. Omaha’s boys play Kingston at 8:30.
Elsewhere, Bakersfield travels to Van Buren, the Gainesville girls make the trip to Norwood, and Dora’s boys head to Koshkonong.
