Flippin Middle School was represented by three students in the Northwest Arkansas Regional History, Geography and Science Bees Saturday at Southside High School in Fort Smith who will go on to qualify for the national and international competitions in history and science.
Carter Mulder won the history and science bees among the eighth graders. In the sixth grade division, Victor Crosby won the history bee, and Jace Browne finished second. The science bee ended with Browne taking the victory, and Crosby was second.
With their top two finishes in each category, Mulder, Crosby and Browne will be able to compete in the National History, Geography and Science Bee May 22-26 in Orlando, Fla. They also qualified to compete on the international level at a later time.
