A Marion County man who was arrested last year for sending threatening messages through a social media account to the Arkansas Attorney General has received probation and been ordered to apologize to the victims. Forty-year-old Jeffrey Roger Pyzocha of Flippin agreed to plead guilty to a felony charge of terroristic threatening as part of the plea deal and received two years of probation. He must also submit an apology to the victims as part of the deal.

According to the probable cause affidavit from the Arkansas State Police, in July of last year, a message was received on the Facebook account of Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin which is controlled and monitored by various employees within the AG’s office, including Griffin himself.

The message from Pyzocha’s account called Griffin several expletives and said “you’re dead,” and was followed by a skull and crossbones emoji.

A search warrant was sent to Facebook for Pyzocha’s account which provided an IP address from Flippin when the message was sent and showed he was using an Android phone. While looking through his account, investigators found comments on many political posts and derogatory comments made towards political officials.
