The Little Rock Police Department has arrested a 72-year-old man in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred Wednesday night.
John Parkman, a Little Rock resident, was taken into custody Thursday and is facing charges of first-degree murder, police said.
Officers responded at 8:24 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a person down at 5805 Stagecoach Road. Upon arrival, they found a man with neck lacerations and provided first aid until paramedics arrived. The victim later died at a local hospital.
Authorities have not yet identified the victim. Detectives are urging anyone with information to contact the police at 501-371-4660.
