The Mountain Home High School teams will be on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Friday morning to begin their two-day run in the Arkansas State High School Wrestling Tournament. Class 5A will include seven Bombers and six Lady Bombers.
On the boys’ side, Mountain Home will be represented by Seth King in the 120-pound division, Mason Shimmel in the 138, Zane Darracq in the 157, Mario Alvarez in the 165, Mason Hill in the 175, Stephen Sturgess in the 215 and Calin Frounfelter in the 285. The Lady Bombers taking part include Bailee Schaffner in the 100-pound division, Ellie Miller in the 120, Olivia McCoy in the 125, Brooklyn Stuteville in the 130, Chrissa Bennett in the 135 and Eliana Pepin in the 140.
Action begins at 9 at the Jack Stephens Center.
