The Mountain Home High School baseball team came up short in its preseason tuneup Thursday at Conway. The Bombers suffered an 8-6 defeat in their benefit game against Sheridan. Mountain Home is set to begin its season Monday in Benton as they meet Little Rock Catholic.
Harrison also had a benefit game as they were in front of the home crowd at the Equity Bank Sports Complex. The Goblins beat Springdale by a final of 5-2.
