MH NJROTC’s winning streak comes to an end, falls to Mountain View MCJROTC

Mountain Home NJROTC’s three-game winning streak came to an end in the 2025 National Air Rifle New Shooter League, falling to Mountain View MCJROTC 1023.8 to 957.2.

Zach Dooley led Mountain Home with a score of 258.5, alongside teammates Aaron Hale, Alyvia Hayes, and Kolby Spitzer. The team, coached by Jason Williams, now holds a 3-1 record and is ranked 28th overall.

Mountain View MCJROTC, based in Stafford, Virginia, was led by Matthew Hodges, who shot a 263.2. Teammates Maria Squire, Javier Delgado, and Samantha Ycong also contributed to the win. Coached by SgtMaj Allen Tanner, Mountain View remains undefeated at 4-0 and is ranked 20th overall.

Next, Mountain Home NJROTC will take on Pace NJROTC from Florida, while Mountain View MCJROTC will compete against Vilseck AJROTC from Germany.
