High school baseball and softball are included on the local Thursday schedule.
The Mountain Home baseball team will continue its current home stand as they welcome Fort Smith Southside to McClain Park. The varsity game begins at 5 at Pitts Field followed by the junior varsity contest.
In other high school baseball, Yellville-Summit travels to Center Ridge to meet Nemo Vista, Calico Rock makes the trip to Shirley, Salem heads to Manila, Melbourne hosts Midland, Marshall travels to Mountain View, Bergman makes the trip to Huntsville, and Harrison entertains Gravette.
On the softball schedule, Cotter heads to Flippin, Norfork is home against Viola, Yellville-Summit hosts Berryville, Calico Rock travels to Shirley, and Harrison makes the trip to North Little Rock.
Mountain Home’s softball game with Mountain View was postponed. A makeup date has not been announced.
